Thrown in two pieces, this vase is attached together the day after throwing. The base is created as a cylinder and pushed into grooves using a wooden tool. The top is thrown as a tapered shape, gently ‘collared’, or squeezed from the outside, since the opening is too small for a human hand to enter.
